Adam Spence is an internationally awarded photographer from Canberra, Australia.
From a young age, Adam has enjoyed a strong interest in nature and visual arts, inspired by the work of photographers including Ansel Adams, Steve Parish and Ken Duncan.
It was the work of Peter Dombrovskis though, whose renowned images captured the pristine Tasmanian wilderness and raised environmental awareness that inspired Adam to pursuit photography in earnest.
Adam is dedicated to creating striking and innovative images of the world around us. While his emphasis on nature and landscapes remains true to his original inspiration, he prides himself on versatility, experimenting with new genres and techniques. His work spans subjects from cityscapes and architecture to aerial and abstract images.
Since 2006, Adam's photography has been recognised in Australia and internationally, including honours in the Prix De La Photographie Paris and International Aperture Awards.
His images and writing have been published by local and national media including News Ltd, Fairfax, Yaffa and Cnet (CBS Interactive). His artworks have been purchased by private collectors around Australia and overseas.
Adam uses Canon professional dSLRs and lenses.
